Donation Expands Reading Program
Hamilton Elementary School is expanding its RtI program book collection, thanks to a $1,000 grant from the Mary Pott Elementary Education Fund! The donation from the Mary Pott Fund will add 168 new books to the RtI library, making it a stronger resource capable of helping students develop even further.
About the RtI Program
Lynn Bosch is the RtI program reading and math coach at Hamilton Elementary School
Hamilton's RtI (Response to Intervention) program works with elementary students at all ability levels, across all grades. Teachers and interventionists use the specialized books from the RtI library every day, as they work with students on building up their reading abilities. Lynn Bosch leads the RtI program at Hamilton
By specifically targeting student needs, the RtI program fills gaps in knowledge to build a better foundation for new learning. Data has shown significant increases in student learning since the inception of this program.
